Somebody who was constantly ill and miserable with their present situation said they wanted a healing session but couldn’t justify paying my fee....
Now, i understand they were not ready for me and they were still in the learning process of their journey but i still wanted to give some food for thought.
The question I asked in return was, How much have you spent so far for your current results and how much is that costing you? What was your return on that?
Do you go to a health professional and negotiate your fee based off how well they “heal you”?
And how long do you give them to do so?
And what results have you gained?
And was that instant or did you have to take medication?
And now you’re sitting in front of me so none of that worked, correct??
When I needed help from depression, none of the medications helped in the slightest!
When someone I loved was suicidal, same thing.
When I watched a family member suffering with an eating disorder, not even the treatment centre in the eating disorder hospital could help her.
When my clients suffered from shame, grief and fear, none of the "professionals" could create lasting changes for them.
Those suffering from Anxiety, PTSD and Phobias were told they will never be free, they just have to manage it!
What a load of shit!
I’m not saying I don’t agree with medical professionals, many perform miracles everyday. I am also not saying all medical professionals and Dr's alike are this way. I personally, find the ones who do believe in healing and who genuinely want to see you better, however that looks.
What I don’t agree with is those who are transferring their old (new when you consider our healing traditions) limited beliefs on to their patients because it aligns better with them, their fear based projections or the drug companies beliefs!
It could be true, maybe you will manage this for the rest of your life, but wouldn't you like to know that you have tried everything you can? While i believe that we are all here, on our personal journeys, to live our purpose and in doing so will face obstacles and growth opportunities, we still have choice! Choice in what we believe, choice in the action we take, choice in what we prioritise, choice in how we participate in the journey.
It should be frowned upon, just like it would be frowned upon if I was to say I could cure depression, release suicidal thoughts or even heal diabetes! Why is it that I can’t say these things but it’s perfectly ok for a Dr, who doesn’t believe in our bodies innate ability to heal itself, not to bother looking into the cause of an issue and tell you that because they don’t know what it is, you’ll never be fixed and you can just manage your symptoms 🤬
I’m not promising that it will be gone or that I can cure anything but I do stand here and tell you that i will work with you to facilitate the healing that your body was made to do and it may not completely resolve in an hour but damn, what if it was 2? Or 3 or 6 hours? What if all it did was created some ease for you? Or even hope?
Would that be better than a life sentence of “Sorry, we can’t help you”?
What would it be worth to you to be free from all that shit? Would it be worth $100?
I have spent more on a night out on the p@*s to be honest.
To me it was priceless!
I dream of a world where, as a healer, I can receive funding just as Dr's do and offer my clients concessions because this shit works. It should be in schools! It should be offered to parents to be, children as they transition through life, grieving loved ones, in mental health and rehab centres. Imagine the world we would create for our children if we were supported to be healthy in all areas, on all levels!
That’s all.
